Curfew relaxed in Sirsa

CHANDIGARH, NOV 28
As normalcy is returning to Sirsa city, curfew has been relaxed up to 9 p.m. today. The shops opened as usual  and people came out of their houses to purchase necessary items. Also,  the district administration made special arrangements in Sirsa City on the occasion of birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji and Shah Mastana Ji of Dera Sacha Sauda today. The routes were decided for vehicles of devotees coming from outside to attend both the celebrations.
          Deputy Commissioner, Sirsa, Dr. J Ganesan said that regular patrolling was done by companies of paramilitary forces and teams of Haryana Police in the city. He said that 20 police officials and personnel  including Duty Magistrates were deployed at different routes. The vehicles entering the city were checked at nakas.
          Dr. Ganesan said that keeping in view the normal situation in the city, curfew has been relaxed till 9 p.m. and the district administration has appealed to the people to maintain peace in the district and not to believe in any rumour.
