Night curfew lift by section 144 imposed in Sirsa

As normalcy is returning to Sirsa, the district Administration Sirsa has lifted the curfew even during the night, but section 144 would be imposed strictly.
          While stating this today, Deputy Commissioner Sirsa, Dr. J. Ganesan said that however all the educational Institutes would remain closed till November 30. He said that anybody not abiding by these orders would be dealt with sternly. He said that vehicles entering the city were being checked at the nakas so that no anti social element could enter Sirsa city. He said that the district Administration has divided the city into 16 sectors and Duty Magistrates have been appointed for each sector. Also, two dozen Police personnel   have been deployed with every Duty Magistrate and they would remain in their concerned areas.
          He said that Para Military Forces and teams of Police would regularly patrol the city. Also, six companies of Police have been kept in reserve. He said that Police would keep an eye on the Railway Station, bus stands and religious places.
          Dr. Ganesan said that all Sub Divisional Officers (Civil), tehsildars, Block Development and Panchayat Officers  have been directed to stay in their offices and remain in touch with the police stations to keep an eye on the situation. In case they receive any information about violation of Section 144, the law and order being disturbed or public property being destroyed, they should take quick action against the anti-social elements. Also, Sub Divisional Officers (Civil) have been directed to send daily report to the district headquarters in the evening.
