Singh Haryana Agricultural University (CCSHAU), Hisar has signed a Memorandum
of Understanding (MoU) with a Private Sector Company namely Y.S. Sons Agrotech,
Baddi, Himachal Pradesh for production of liquid biofertilizers
today.
While
stating this today, a spokesman of the University said that Dr. J.S. Dhankar,
Director of Research signed the MoU on behalf of CCSHAU and Mrs. Julee Kumari
signed the MoU on behalf of Y.S. Sons Agrotech.
He
said that the university had so far signed 37 MoUs for crop hybrids or
varsities, milk–urea detection technology, Schizont cell culture vaccine and
liquid bio-fertilizers with public and private sector companies.As a result of
this agreement, which has been signed today, the university would get Rs four
lakh.
He
said that the liquid bio-fertilizer technology has been developed by the
scientists of College of Basic Sciences of the university. He said
that the demand of liquid bio-fertilizer was increasing gradually because these
fertilizers increase the yield of crops by more than five per cent and have no
harmful effects like the inorganic fertilizers.
