Online applications for recruitment of Primary teachers

 Haryana School Teachers Selection Board has invited online applications for recruitment of 9870 Primary Teachers (PRT) - Group-C Post- up to December 8, 2012.

        While stating this today, a spokesman of the Board said that out of these posts,  8763 were district cadre posts, except district Mewat, for Primary Teachers including 346 posts of backlog of physically handicapped  category.

The total posts included  3538   of General Category, 1433   for candidates belonging to Scheduled Casts, 1138 for Backward Classes A category, 632 for Backward Classes B category, 591 for Ex-servicemen belonging to General Category, 169 each for Ex-servicemen, Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes A category, 255 posts for Ex-servicemen Backward Classes B category, 602 posts for physically challenged persons, 82 each for outstanding sportspersons belonging to General Category and Scheduled Castes and 36 each for outstanding sportspersons belonging to Backward Classes category A and B.

        He said that in case of district Mewat, applications have been invited for 1107 posts of Primary Teachers including 44 posts to fill backlog of physically challenged category. These posts included 447 posts of General Category, 181 posts for candidates belonging to Scheduled Casts, 143 for Backward Classes A category, 80 for Backward Classes B category, 74 for Ex-servicemen belonging to General Category, 21 each for Ex-servicemen Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes A category, 32 posts for Ex-servicemen Backward Classes B category, 76 posts for physically challenged persons, 11 each for outstanding sportspersons belonging to General Category and Scheduled Castes and five each for outstanding sportspersons belonging to Backward Classes A and B categories.

        He said that the candidates must have scored 50 per cent marks in senior secondary or its equivalent and two year diploma in Elementary Education or Senior Secondary or its equivalent with at least 45 per cent marks and 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations 2002 or Senior Secondary or its equivalent with at least 50 per cent marks and four year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B. El. Ed.) or Senior Secondary or its equivalent with at least 50 per cent marks and two year Diploma in Education or B.A. or B.Sc. or B.Com and two year Diploma in Elementary Education. He said that the candidate must have certificates of having qualified Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) or School Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) of Haryana for primary teacher or should have four year teaching experience as primary teachers as one time exemption of HTET or STET. The candidate must have passed matric with Hindi or Sanskrit or class XII or B.A or M.A with Hindi as one of the subject.

        He said that the candidates belonging to General Category would have to deposit Rs 300 as fee and it would be Rs 75 for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes or Backward Classes. The fee should be deposited in any branch of State Bank of India 48 hours after registration of application form with CDAC Mohali’s website www.recruitment.cdacmohali.in. He said that fee for ex-servicemen and physically challenged candidates would be exempted. He said that the candidates could deposit fee last by 4 p.m. on December 12, 2012.
