CHANDIGARH, NOV 1
The Haryana Government has constituted Haryana Human Rights Commission in the State
under the Chairmanship of Mr. Justice Vijender Jain, (Retd.) Chief Justice.
While
stating this here today, an official spokesman said that
Mr. Justice H.S. Bhalla, (Retd.) Judge and Mr. J.S.
Ahlawat, a retired officer of Indian Administrative Service would be
members of the Commission.
He
said that the Commission would start functioning with effect from November 2,
2012 temporarily in Haryana Niwas, Sector 3, Chandigarh. He said that with
effect from November 5, 2012 at Haryana State Guest House, Room number 402-403,
Chanakyapuri, New Delhi on temporary basis. He said that the office of the
Commission would remain open from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on all working
days.Any person aggrieved on account of violation of his or her human rights could submit his or her complaint along with an affidavit during office hours
on any working day.
