No grants without UCs to non-government aided schools

CHANDIGARH, JAN 29
The Haryana Government has sanctioned over Rs 16.90 crore as grant-in-aid for payment of third installment of salary grant for the year 2012-13 in respect of non-government aided schools of the State.
          While stating this here today, a spokesman of the Secondary Education Department said that the salary grant will not be released to the institutions from whom the utilization certificates in respect of any previous grant-in-aid is awaited. No grant will be given to the institution in case it is not permanently recognized and if it does not fulfill any condition as mentioned in the rules for release of the grant. Also, no grant will be given to the institution if any proceedings under Haryana School Education Act, 1995 and rules made there-under are pending.
          He said that the District Education Officers have been directed to ensure that grant is not to be released in those cases where institution has not paid the salary of the employees for the last quarter of 2011-12 and so on. This amount would be drawn positively before February 28, 2013.
          He said that the net admissible amount for district Ambala is over Rs 2.93 crore, Bhiwani over Rs 79.41 lakh, Faridabad more than Rs 68.98 lakh, Gurgaon Rs 65.50 lakh, Hisar Rs 87.31 lakh, Jhajjar Rs three lakh, Jind Rs 1.06 crore, Kaithal Rs 12 lakh, Karnal more than Rs 1.69 crore, Kurukshetra over Rs 1.08 crore, Mahendragarh Rs 22.50 lakh, Mewat Rs 12 lakh, Panchkula over Rs 47.46 lakh, Panipat more than Rs 66.47 lakh, Rewari Rs 64.26 lakh, Rohtak over Rs 1.47 crore, Sirsa Rs 47.50 lakh, Sonepat Rs 1.50 crore and Yamunanagar more than Rs 1.38 crore.
