Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA) has
invited outsees claims for allotment of residential or commercial sites in the
Urban Estates developed by HUDA from all land owners whose land has been
acquired under Rehabilitation and Resettlement (R and R) Policy 2007 and 2010
for the developmental projects.
While stating this today, a spokesman of HUDA said that Haryana Government has
implemented R and R Policy for the benefit of land owners whose land has been
acquired for developmental projects.
He
said that all such land owners could apply to the concerned Estate Office, HUDA
for allotment of Residential Plot or Commercial Site as per the relevant R and
R policy within 30 days. He said that no outsees claim would be entertained
after the date of closing.
He said that the R and R policy dated December 7, 2007 and November 9, 2010 is
available on the website of HUDA –www.huda.gov.in.
The application forms could be obtained from the concerned Estate Officer or
could be downloaded from the HUDA website.
He said that Haryana Government has notified Rehabilitation and Resettlement
Policy on December 7, 2007 which has been made applicable to all such
acquisitions cases where awards have been announced on or after March 5, 2005.
The policy covers all awards announced on or after March 5, 2005 and upto
September 6, 2010. Thereafter another comprehensive revised R and R
policy currently in force, has been notified on November 9, 2011 which has been
made applicable to all such acquisition cases where award has been announced on
or after September 7, 2010 so as to provide alternate means of sustenance, over
and above the market rate of compensation and annuity, for the land owners and
other landless persons or artisans who are dependent on agriculture land being
acquired for non agriculture purposes.
