CHANDIGARH, SEPT 17
Sohna of District Gurgaon will have
two new courts from September
18 which will help in providing speedy justice to the litigant
public of the region at their door step.
District and Sessions Judge of Gurgaon Mr Shekher Dhawan today inspected the
new premises of Market Committee building where these courts would start
functioning.
Expressing
his satisfaction on setting up of sub divisional courts at Sohna, Mr
Dhawan said that the High Court has posted Mr Rajesh Kumar Yadav as
SDJM-cum-ACJ(SD), Sohna whereas Mr Saurabh Rana, presently posted as Civil
Judge (Jr.Divn.)-cum-JMIC at Gurgaon has been posted as such at Sohna. He said
that it was long pending demand of the general public of Sohna to start a court
there, to which the Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh gave its consent.
It was decided in principle to create two Civil Courts at Sohna.
He said
that Judge of Punjab and Haryana High Court Chandigarh Mr. Justice Hemant
Gupta, who is Administrative Judge of Gurgaon Sessions Division,
inspected the site on August 31 2013 and was very much
satisfied with the work done by Haryana State Agriculture Marketing Board
(HSAMB). During his visit to Sohna, he was also pleased to approve the
site for construction of shed for sitting of lawyers in front of court
complex.
He said
that by creating Courts at Sohna, litigant public of Tehsil Sohna would be
benefited as they had come to Gurgaon to attend their cases by covering a
distance of 30-40 Kms and lot of time and money was wasted. Above
4600 cases of Sohna Tehsil which were pending at Gurgaon would be dealt by
these courts and speedy and inexpensive justice would be delivered to the
public. At present the courts would function in the building of Market
Committee Sohna till Judicial Complex is constructed, he added.
