Mohinder Kumar appointed IG University VC

CHANDIGARH, SEPT 13

 Haryana Governor Jagannath Pahadia has appointed Mr. Mohinder Kumar, IAS (Retd.) as Vice Chancellor of Indira Gandhi University, Meerpur for a term of three years.
          Similarly, Governor has also ordered that Mr. H.S. Chahal, Vice Chancellor  of Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak will also discharge the duties of as Vice Chancellor of Deenbandu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology, Murthal.
HARYANA ASSEMBLY PROROGUED: Mr Jagannath Pahadia today prorogued the Haryana Assembly after its monsoon session which was held from September 6 to 11.
          An official release said the Governor prorogued the Vidhan Sabha in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by virtue of Sub-Clause (a) of Clause (2) of Article 174 of the Constitution.
