Haryana to recruit 14,000 lecturers, 9600 JBT teachers

 Haryana Education Minister Geeta Bhukkal said that about 14,000 lecturers at school level and 9600 JBT teachers would be recruited by the commencement of new academic session as a result of which there would be no shortage of teachers in the new academic session.
          Mrs. Bhukkal   said that Haryana has become a leading state in the country to implement the Right to Education Act. She said that students are being provided with quality education and better infrastructure. Also, to further improve the standard of education, the State Government is taking suggestions of the concerned representatives after their visits to schools.
          She said that the State Government has started a helpline number 1091 for safety of women and for speedy action in crime against women 21 fast track courts have been setup in the State  and  Protection Officers have also been appointed.   The State Government is ensuring welfare of women through Ladli, Ladli Samajik Suraksha Yojna, Indira Gandhi Priyadarshini Vivah Shagun Yojana and Priyadarshini Awas Yojana.  
          She said that the State Government is serious to uphold the dignity of  girls and women and ensure their safety. The involvement of common man is also necessary in this endeavour of the State Government. We should fight against all such social evils, she added.
          Mrs. Bhukkal said that it is a matter of pride for us that UPA Chairperson, Mrs. Sonia Gandhi came to dedicate to the people Bhagat Phool Singh Women Government  Medical College and Hospital  at Khanpur Kalan on International Women’s Day and highlighted the steps being taken in direction of women empowerment.
