Haryana to regularize unauthorized colonies

 Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today said that with a view to regularized the unauthorized colonies in the State, a draft Bill has been prepared and the government would try to get it passed at the earliest possible. 
Mr. Hooda was addressing a largely attended public meeting organized by Chief Parliamentary Secretary Ms. Sharda Rathore at Dussehra Ground in Ballabhgarh today. 
Mr. Hooda said that he has urged the Central Government to start the work on Ballabhgarh-Faridabad metro before ensuing Lok Sabha elections and get an elevated flyover constructed to pass over Ballabhgarh.
The Chief Minister, who was highly impressed with the massive gathering at the public meeting, accepted the demands put forwarded by Ms. Rathore and announced to give Rs. 20 crore for Ward No. 34 and 35, Rs. 5 crore for beautification of Ballabhgarh constituency and construct a sports stadium in Ballabhgarh, provide a place for Chhath Puja and said that a community centre would be got constructed for Muslim community. He also announced a new library, upgradation of schools and added that the demand for free hold of 1050 shops that were on lease would be considered sympathetically. 
Mr. Hooda said that he has already sent a written communication to the Central Government urging for construction of an elevated flyover in Ballabhgarh so as to ease congestion of traffic on the pattern of Panipat. He said that he would pursue the issue with the Central government. He also said that a survey would be got conducted for the Tirkha colony, Bhatia Colony, Raghubir Colony, Shiv Colony and Nahar Singh Colony so as to consider giving relief to their residents.
Mr. Hooda said that the last Plan budget of the previous government led by Mr. Om Parkash Chautala in the state was Rs. 2200 crore. As compared to it, the present Congress government would spend more than this as its share to connect Faridabad and Ballabhgarh with metro. He said that MP Mr. Avtar Singh Badhana and Ms. Sharda Rathore had repeatedly stressed the need to connect Ballabhgarh with metro. Metro is necessary for Ballabhgarh to give full benefit of metro to Faridabad and Palwal. While the work for Faridabad project is in progress, for Ballabhgarh the work of metro would commence before Lok Sabha elections. 
Mr. Hooda said that the INLD-BJP government had spent Rs. 422.99 crore on development of Faridabad district whereas the present Congress government has already spent Rs. 3283.85 crore for the same purpose. Similarly, the INLD-BJP government had spent Rs 87.45 crore on development of Ballabhgarh assembly constituency but the present Congress government has spent Rs. 378.6 crore.
He said that former Chief Ministers Mr. Chautala and Mr. Bhajan Lal had got set up one university each and that too in their respective districts whereas the present government is setting up universities in Faridabad, Gurgaon, Mahendergarh, Sonipat, Jhajjar and Hisar. As a result of it the state would emerge as an education hub of international standard. 
MP Mr. Avtar Singh Badhana assured Mr. Hooda that the way he has upheld the dignity of the people of Faridabad by ensuring all around development, the people would make Congress victorious in all the nine assembly constituencies in the ensuing Assembly elections.
MP Mr. Deepender Singh Hooda appreciated that a large number of women had come to attend the rally. He also supported the demands of the people of the area.
Ms Sharda Rathore submitted the demands of the area and appreciated the support of MP Mr. Deepender Singh Hooda in the development of the area. 
Others present in the rally included Health Minister, Rao Narinder Singh, Political Advisor to Chief Minister, Prof. Virender, MLAs Mr. Raghbir Twetia, Mr. Anand Kaushik, former MLA Mr. Uday Bhan and other prominent personalities of the area.
