Life of Swami Shradhanand inspires to bring change in society

 Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda has said that the life of Swami Shradhanand inspires us to bring a change in the society, which today is suffering from moral degradation.
Releasing a film entitled as “Aahwaan”  on the life of Swami Shradhanand in New Delhi last evening, Mr Hooda said that Swami Virjananad asked Swami Dayanand to remove the social evils from the society and Swami Dayanand inspired Lala Munshi Ram to devote his life for bringing change in society. His inspiration turned a simple man Munshi Ram into Swami Shradhanand, who gave new direction to the society.
Mr Hooda said that Swami Shradhanand laid stress on propagation of education and established Gurukul in Kangri. Later, he also established Gurukuls in Kurukshetra and Matindu, in which his grandfather and grandfather of his wife also contributed, added Mr Hooda.
The Chief Minister said that it was his inspiration that Bhagat Phool Singh established a Gurukul for boys in Bhainswal and a Gurukul for girls in Khanpur Kalan. Today, the Khanpur Gurukul  has become a Women University, whose first convocation is being held on the 8th of this month.
Mr Hooda said that our family had close relations with the families of Sardar Bhagat Singh and Lala Lajpat Rai. He said that his father Ch. Ranbir Singh took part in freedom movement and also remained member of the Constituent Assembly.
Mr Hooda congratulated the Vichar TV Group for making the film “Aahwaan” and hoped that they will continue with such ventures in future also.
Rajya Sabha MP, Dr Ram Parkash said that Swami Dayanand was a symbol of dedication and determination. He was not a leader, but a leader of leaders.Swami Shradhanand established Gurukuls and started ‘Shudhi’ campaign. By making a film on the life of such a great soul, the Vichar Group has done a commendable job, he said.
Speaker of Delhi Assembly, Dr Yoganand Shastri said that if the country adopts the Gurukul system, it would immensely benefit. Swami Shradhanand had an ideal of education with moral values before him. He sent both his sons to Gurukul for studies. Dr Shastri congratulated Mr Surender Arya, the Chairman of Vichar Group for making the film Aahwaan.
Earlier, Mr Surender Arya welcomed the Chief Minister, Mr Hooda and other dignitaries.
The Senior Arya Samaj leader Mahashay Dharampal also congratulated Mr Surender Arya for making the film on Swami Shradhanand. He also commended the Chief Minister Mr Hooda for changing the image of Haryana and said that like his grandfather and father he is following the ideals of Arya Samaj.
Amity Group Chairman Dr Ashok Chauhan, Arya Samaj leader Mr Viresh Pratap Chaudhary, senior journalist Dr Ved Pratap Vaidik and industrialist Mr B.M. Munjal were also present on this occasion.
