Haryana State
Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (HSIIDC) has given
timeline June 30, 2017 for the construction of Common Effluent Treatment Plants
(CETPs) in their industrial areas and Industrial Model Townships depending upon
the development of industries and generation of industrial effluent.
This
information was given by Haryana Environment Minister, Capt. Ajay Singh Yadav,
while replying to a question during the ongoing session of
Haryana Vidhan Sabha, here today. He said that for the
completion of second CETP in Sector 29, Part-II, Panipat, Haryana Urban
Development Authority (HUDA) has given timeline upto December 2015.
91 firms found selling illicit drugs
Haryana Food and Drugs Administration has found 91 firms
selling and purchasing illicit drugs used as intoxicants up to January 2013.
This
information was given by Haryana Health Minister, Rao Narender Singh, while
replying to a question during the ongoing session of
Haryana Vidhan Sabha, here today.
He
said that in the year 2011-12, 66 firms were found selling and purchasing
illicit drugs used as intoxicants. As many as 15 drug licenses were
suspended up to January 2013 in the year 2012-13 and an equal number of
licenses were suspended during 2011-12. He said that 43 drug licenses were
cancelled in 2012-13, up to January 2013 and 40 drug licenses were also
cancelled during 2011-12. Two prosecutions were filed up to January 2013 in the
year 2012-13 and 14 prosecutions were filed during 2011-12. He said that
17 cases were under process of filing in the court up to
January 2013 in the year 2012-13 and six in 2011-12. He said that
10 First Information Reports (FIRs) under Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic
Substances Act, 1985 were registered in 2012-13 up to January 2013 and six FIRs
were registered during 2011-12 and 13 cases were under process in 2012-13 up to
January 2013.
