Self defense training to girl students

Haryana School Shiksha Pariyojna Parishad, Panchkula would provide self defense training to girl students of class IXth and Xth under National Secondary Education Campaign in the state.
          While stating this today, an official spokesman said that this training would be provided for one hour every day excluding holidays and Sunday for three months in five schools of Mahendergarh, Kanina, Ateli, Narnaul and Nangal Choudhary blocks. He said that every instructor would get Rs 4500 per month under this scheme. This programme would be implemented in 25 schools of district Mahendergarh. Under this programme, a batch of minimum 50 students would be trained in a school. A committee of District Project Coordinator, Assistant Project Coordinator and Elementary Education Officer of concerned block has been constituted under the chairmanship of Additional Commissioner and Chairman for the selection of instructors.
          He said that the instructors should be diploma holder or black belt holder of concerned training. Interested applicants should reach office of District Project Coordinator, Sarva Sikhsha Abhiyan, Shiv Colony, Narnaul with duly filled applications at 10 a.m. Women instructors would be given special preference, he added.
