Toll free number for soldiers

CHANDIGARH, APRIL 22

 A special toll free number 1800-180-3121 has been started for soldiers serving in Army and paramilitary forces. Through this number soldiers hailing from district Jhajjar can bring their grievances concerning any department to the notice of the administration.

          While stating this today, an official spokesman said that the complaints lodged on this number by soldiers would be redressed. Earlier, soldiers had to take leave to get their work  related to local administration done. This service has been started by the District Administration to resolve  the problems being faced by soldiers, he added.         

          More than two dozen   soldiers hailing from the district and deployed at various places of the country have availed the  benefit of this scheme within a fortnight of its introduction, he added.
