Wheat loan increased to Rs 11,000

Haryana Government has increased the amount of interest free wheat loan from Rs 10,000 to Rs 11,000 during the current financial year. It would benefit about 60,000 employees in the State.

         While stating this today, Finance Minister, Mr.H.S.Chattha said that the loan is given to Class-IV employees and such Class III employees as are getting basic pay plus DP up to Rs.7000 in pre-revised scale and up to Rs.8000 in revised scale.

          He said that the loan would be recovered in 10 equal monthly installments. The wheat loan would not be sanctioned to work charge or daily wage employees or employees who are on deputation in Corporations or Local Bodies. In case both husband and wife are government servant, either of the spouse would be granted this facility.
