Applications for cash awards for sportspersons invited

 CHANDIGARH, JULY 4

 Haryana Sports and Youth Affairs Department has invited applications for cash prizes from sportspersons who have won medals in 29 different competitions at National and International level. The applications can be downloaded from the department's website haryanasports.gov.in and submitted to the office of the District Sports Officer by July 25, 2021.

        Giving information in this regard, an official spokesman said that as per the scheme of the State Government, every year cash prizes are given to the sportspersons who have performed outstandingly. Applications have been sought from the players who have won medals during April 1, 2020 to March 31, 2021.

        He said that applications will not be accepted post the last date. Complete details of sports competition including name, father's name, address, bank account are to be mentioned in the form. Along with this, the form will also have to be verified from the concerned sports federation or association.
