Pay hike for contractual IIT instructors

Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda has approved substantial hike  in the monthly remuneration of instructors engaged on contractual basis in Industrial Training Institutes in the state.
While disclosing this here today, Industrial Training Minister Mrs. Geeta Bhukkal said that an increase of 12 per cent had been made in the monthly remuneration of Instructors. Now they would be entitled to get Rs.14,000 per month as against  Rs.12,500 per month earlier.
The revised remuneration of Rs 14,000 would be applicable to those Instructors who would enter into a new contract agreement as per policy of the government. She thanked the Chief Minister for increasing the remuneration of Instructors.
Mrs. Bhukkal said that such Instructors would also be entitled for 12 casual leaves in a calendar year with a restriction of not more than one leave in a month. Apart from this, the facility of maternity leave to the married female instructors was already being provided, she added.

Campus placement drive in SRMIET and SDD Global

Exemption from submission of Migration Certificate or NOC

The Haryana Government has decided to accord exemption from submission of Migration Certificate or No Objection Certificate for purpose of admission to university or an institution to the students qualifying diploma from Haryana State Board of Technical Education, Panchkula.
While stating this here today, a spokesman of Technical Education Department said that this provision has been implemented with immediate effect.
He said that in case the authentication of the admitted candidates was required, the university or  institution might send the list of admitted candidates to Haryana State Board of Technical Education.

dance moves.
‘Salsa’ – couple dance. ‘Kala Jadu’ students in their dance performance showed how beautiful moments can be enjoyed by everyone in any situation. The catchy number ‘Jodha Akbar’ a performance showing mughal virasat ki jhalak was also performed.
“Hip-Hop” a form of western street dance being imitated by every body now-a-days was a favorite of all and the rip-roaring performance had the hall rocking throughout. “Walha-Walha” a quwalli by girls and boys appreciated by the audience and tribute to Michael Jackson was staged in so realistic manner which was followed by “Arabian-A Belly Dance”.
Other dance performances were the Rajasthani folk and remix of dance number captivated the audience with their electrifying performances. “Ma Tujhe Salaam” A patriotic tribute to Mother India was presented beautifully by budding artists on roller skates.
Popular tunes of Pop star Shakira. ‘Vande Matram’ truly depicted the love and devotion for the country that students expressed deeply with their bodies painted tri-colour and holding national flags of India.
The complete cord of the show was the ‘Bhangra’ that indeed took the audience to the interiors of Punjab village with Giddha and Bhangra Dhol beats that made the audience tap their feet to the Punjabi tunes.
The show ended with grand finale where the chief guest, guests, president and Vice President, Principal, Staff and Students together merged their dance movements with one another holding national flag and candles in their hands.

Induction rally for Boys Sports Company on Feb 29

Govt sanctions 83 posts for Kalpana Medical College

The Haryana Government has sanctioned 83 posts of various disciplines for the Kalpana Chawla Medical College, Karnal for its smooth functioning.
            While stating this here today, Haryana Health and Medical Education Minister, Rao Narender Singh said that the sanctioned posts for the college included one post of Medical Superintendent, five posts of Professors of Medicine, Surgery and Obstetrics and Gynaecology (OBG), 14 posts of Associate Professors of Eye, ENT, Ortho, Pediatric, Radiology and Pathology, 12 posts of Assistant Professors of Medicine, Surgery, OBG, Eye, ENT, Ortho, Pediatrics, Radiology, Pathology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Pulmonary Medicine, 27 posts of Senior Resident of Medicine, Surgery, OBG, Eye, ENT, Ortho, Pediatrics, Radiology, Pathology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Pulmonary Medicine, 21 posts of Junior Resident and one post each of Junior Engineer(Electrical), Junior Engineer(Civil) and Junior Engineer(Mechanical).
            He said that appointments for 49 posts of clinical discipline would soon be made through direct recruitment.

A talent hunt in Govt Higher Secondary schools in Haryana

It is essential along with enhancement of academic knowledge and other aspects of personality through music, dance and  sculpture, which are a part of our culture. These need to find specific place for understanding and mastering the same in our school education system. It is, therefore, essential that exposure to the best tradition in Music and dance be given to our students who are at present getting exposed only to versions available through TV shows. Although academic content in education is given to students by teachers yet it is the need of the hour that steps should be taken to educate them on live performances in vocal and instrumental music.

HSIIDC to allot 539 industrial plots at IMT Faridabad

Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd.(HSIIDC) has decided to allot 539  industrial plots  of various sizes at IMT Faridabad.
          A spokesman of HSIIDC said  here today that out of the total plots, 36  plots would be allotted under prestigious project category and the remaining 503 plots under general project category. Therefore, the HSIIDC has invited applications from the entrepreneurs for the allotment of these plots.
          He said that entrepreneurs planning to set up industrial projects having fixed capital investment of Rs 30 crore  and above could apply under prestigious project category. The entrepreneurs should apply on prescribed application form  alongwith a copy of the project report and supporting documents. Allotment of plots would be made keeping in view  the technical feasibility and economic viability of the project and background of the applicant, his qualification or experience, marketing detail, working results of existing operations or group concerns, resource position, financial details, entrepreneurship and performance during the interview.
          He said that  under general  project category, 50 per cent  of the plots would be reserved for the existing working or operational industrial units situated within the municipal limits of Faridabad, operating for a period of five years or more subject to submission of copies of their electricity bills and sale tax returns  from the year of claiming the eligibility and other documents as specified in the application form.  Such existing units  as are operating from non conforming areas would be accorded first priority and would be required  to furnish an  undertaking  to close down their existing operations from the non conforming areas within a period of two or three years of allotment, while the second priority would be accorded to the existing industrial units in operation for a period of five years or more which  need developed industrial space  for their expansion and requirement.
          He said that the application form could be obtained from corporation's offices or downloaded from the website www.hsiidc.org. Applications complete in all respects with supporting documents  accompanied by earnest money and processing fee  should reach  the office of HSIIDC  by March 15,2012.

Admission to B Ed (distance education) in MDU

Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU), Rohtak has invited applications for admission to B.Ed.(distance education) two-year course.
          While stating this here today a spokesman of the university said that fulltime regular school teachers serving in recognised (primary /secondary / senior secondary levels) with a minimum two years continuous teaching experience and minimum 50 per cent marks in graduate or postgraduate (45 per cent marks for Scheduled Castes and totally blind candidates) were eligible  for admission to this course.

HAC invites applications for allotment of type IV houses

The House Allotment Committee Haryana  has invited applications  from  the employees of Haryana Government working on regular basis at Chandigarh or Panchkula for the allotment of type IV houses in sector 39B Chandigarh.
          While stating this here today, a spokesman of the Committee said that  the employees getting basic pay plus grade pay between Rs 21000 and Rs 37400 as on July 1,2011 were eligible for allotment of these houses.
          He said that the employees who have already been allotted government houses of appropriate category at Chandigarh by the UT administration were not eligible for the allotment of  houses at Panchkula and Chandigarh. The employees of Boards or Corporations and of other autonomous bodies and the  employees who are on deputation with other government or Boards or Corporations  were also not eligible for the allotment of these houses.
          The employees would not be allowed change of house from sector 39B Chandigarh to Panchkula on any ground. Even the mutual change would not be allowed from sector 39B Chandigarh to Panchkula being separate criteria, he added.
          The spokesman said that  the applications for the allotment of these houses should be forwarded  to the House Allotment Committee Haryana by February 15,2012. The applicants  who have applied earlier for allotment of type IV houses in sector 39B Chandigarh  should apply afresh, as their earlier applications had been consigned to record.
