Haryana to modify pay structure of certain categories of Govt employees

The Haryana Government has decided to modify the pay structure of certain categories of government employees.
          As per a notification issued by the Finance Department, Senior and Junior Brail, Music, Science, Maths, General Teacher and Brail-cum-typing instructor in Social Justice and Empowerment Department (Government Blind School, Panipat) will now get grade pay of Rs 4600 instead of Rs 3600 in pay band-2, pay scale of Rs 9300-34800 with effect from January 1, 2006 (notional) and with effect from April 1,2010 (actual). Craft Sighted Teacher in the similar department will get grade pay of Rs 4200 instead of Rs 3600 in pay band-2, Rs 9300-34800 with effect from January 1, 2006 (notional) and with effect from April 1,2010 (actual).
Joint Controller Food Accounts in Food and Supplies Department will get grade pay of Rs 8000 in pay band-3, pay scale of Rs 13500-17250. Deputy Director (as a personal measure to the present incumbent Mr. O.P. Pasricha) in Treasuries and Accounts Department will get grade pay of Rs.6000 in pay band-3.
          Senior Town Planner in Town and Country Planning Department will get grade pay of Rs.8700 in pay band-4, Rs.37400-67000. Assistant Town Planner would get grade pay of Rs.5400 in pay band-3, Rs.15600-39100 at entry level. After five years of regular satisfactory service as ATP, they would be eligible to get grade pay of Rs.6000 in the same pay band and after 11 years of regular satisfactory service, Rs.7600 grade pay in same pay band would be admissible to them. It would be limited to 25 per cent of the total cadre posts in the categories of ATP, DTP and STP. After 17 years of regular satisfactory service after entry as ATP and limited to 20 per cent of the total cadre posts in the categories of ATP,DTP and STP, the revised pay band would be PB-4 (Rs 37400-67000) and revised grade pay of Rs 8700.

Admission in undergraduate and post-graduate courses in HAU

The CCS Haryana Agricultural University (HAU), Hisar has invited applications from residents of Haryana for admission to various undergraduate and post-graduate courses for the academic
session 2011-12.
While stating this today, Registrar of the University, Dr. S.S. Dahiya said that the university would make admissions to various courses which included B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture, B. Sc.(Hons.) Home Science,
M.Sc. in Food Science and Technology, Bio-Informatics and Bio-Technology and Molecular Biology and Master's programmes in various disciplines in Agriculture, Agricultural Engineering, Home Science and Basic Sciences during academic session 2011-12.
He said that admissions would also be made in post-graduate diploma courses in Biotechnology, Industrial Microbiology, Human Nutrition and Dietetics, School Counseling, Communication Skills in English and
English-Hindi Translation.  Also, from the new academic session admissions to two new courses namely B.Sc (Hons.) Agriculture six year degree programme and B.Sc. (Hons.) Home Science six year programme
after matric would also be made.
Dr. Dahiya said that the entrance test would be conducted only for B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture, M.Sc. in Food Science and Technology, Bio-Informatics and Bio-Technology and Molecular Biology courses on June 11 next, whereas admission to other courses would be made on the basis of merit obtained in the qualifying exam. However, admission to B. Tech (Agricultural Engineering), MBA (General) and MBA
(Agribusiness) would be made on the basis of merit of AIEEE and MAT respectively.
He further said that prospectus along with admission form have been put on sale from today which could be obtained by post from the Assistant Registrar (Academic), CCS HAU, Hisar.He said that for convenience of the candidates the prospectuses have also been made available at all Krishi Vigyan Kendras (KVKs) of the university in the state and main post offices at all district headquarters of Haryana, Kaul and Bawal. It could also be downloaded from website www.hau.ernet.in, he added.

Air Force Recruitment Rally at Rohtak

25 donate blood at SRS camp

The 7th annual blood donation camp was organized by Sri Ram Sharnam here at its ashram near PGI, here and as many as 25 persons donated blood units.  This camp was organized in commemoration of the birth anniversary of Swami Satyanand ji Maharaj, the founder of Sri Ram Sharnam.
     According to a spokesperson of the Sri Ram Sharnam, 25 units of blood was colleted by the team headed by Dr. Usha Rao of Blood Bank PGI Chandigarh.
    On the occasion, Dr. Nidhi B Harjai, Consultant Speech Therapist and Audiologist also organized a free hearing and speech check up camp which was attended by nearly 200 persons.  She also gave medical tips and prescribed medicines to the persons suffering from hearing impairment and speech distortions.

HAU to conduct Radio Jockey course from May 1

Extension Education Directorate of Ch. Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar will organise three-month certificate course on "Radio Jockey" from May 1.
          While stating this today, Dr.J.S.Dhankhar, Director Extension Education said that the course has been started in view of increasing demand for technical man power due to extension of FM and community radio stations in the country. The course would help the participants in making their carrier in media.
          Ch.Charan Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar was also setting   up community radio stations at its Krishi Vigyan Kendras where the youth so trained would be accorded priority, he added.
          Dr.Dhankhar said that the classes for the Radio Jockey certificate course would be conducted in the evening so that regular studies of the students might not be disturbed. A total of 20 students would be admitted in this course. The minimum educational qualifications for the course had been fixed 10 plus two, he added.

Eight teams for Industrial Cup Cricket in Gurgaon

Haryana Ranking Tennis Tournament in Ambala
