DPS Pinjore girl wins International Informatics Olympiad

PANCHKULA, MAY 2 

Drishti Tulsi of class IX has done the country , the state, the school and above all herself proud by getting the first rank in International Informatics Olympiad 2010-11 organised by Silver Zone. The International Informatics Olympiad, a test of competence and proficiency in computer science, is held annually at the national and international levels based on syllabus prescribed by CBSE/ICSE and the State
Boards in August/October.
Apart from syllabus, a part of test is based on mental ability and reasoning. The first rank has won Drishti a laptop, so that she could chistle her technical skills more to prepare herself for future achievements. Drishti was all smiles and held her prized possession with humility which was presented to her by School Principal Samson Masih. The principal congratulated her and also wished her the very best for future endeavours. He also congratulated Anthony Masih (vomputer teacher) for guiding her to prepare for the test. The winner is sure to be an inspiration for other students in the school.
