21 candidates in fray in Adampur Assembly constituency

CHANDIGARH, NOV 16
A total of 21 candidates have remained in fray in Adampur assembly constituency after withdrawing candidature by two candidates today.
          While stating this here today,a spokesman of the election department said that today was the last date for withdrawing the candidature. Election symbols had been allotted to all the 21 candidates.
          Giving details of the election symbols, he said that sign of hand had been allotted to Kulveer Singh of Indian National Congress, spectacles to Ram Singh of Indian National Lok Dal, tractor to Renuka Bishnoi of Haryana Janhit Congress, television to Kanta of Indian Bahujan Sandesh Party(Kanshi Ram), sewing machine to Pala Ram of Bharatiya Santmat Party, scissors to Mukesh of Samast Bharatiya Party, electric pole to Lal Chand of Republican Backward Congress and kite to Sajjan Kumar of Rashtriya Bahujan Hitay Party. Election symbols allotted to independent candidates included tent to Ajay Kumar, ceiling fan to Atam Parkash, ring to Anand Kumar, table to Kuldeep son of Parduman, cake to Kuldeep son of Madan Lal, glass tumbler to Narayan Singh, balloon to Bhajan Lal, letter box to Raj Kumar, basket to Rajiv, almirah to Ramphal, batsman to Satbir, battery torch to Sandeep and bat to Sushil.
