SRITE organises impressive annual Nritya Bela

The jam-packed campus of Shree Ram Institute of Technical Education sparked with extra energy, where the annual show of Shree Ram Institute of Technical Education, Mouli, Barwala, Panchkula – “Nritya Bela" was held with gala performances of  900 college students who reflected rich cultural heritage of India through their energetic dance performances.
Eminent educationists and notable personalities from varied fields were present to grace the occasion. Shri Deepender Singh Hooda, Member of Parliament from Rohtak was the chief guest of the day and Sh. Ranjeev Dalal, Director General of Police, Haryana, Mrs. Ashima Brar, Deputy Commissioner,
Panchkula, Sh. Manish Chaudhary, Supdt. Of Police, Panchkula,  Mr. Naresh Kaushal, Editor, Dainik Tribune, Mr. Kewal Sahni, Unit Head Dainik Bhaskar, Mr . Ram Kishan Gujjar, MLA, Naraingarh, Sh. D.K. Bansal, MLA Panchkula, were among other distinguished dignitaries who graced the occasion.
The grand opening of the cultural bonanza was a traditional warm welcome of
the dignitaries followed by lamp lighting on 'Shloka Uccharan' and Gayatri Mantras.
Vice President of Shree Ram Institute of Technical Education Mrs. Asha Kiran Mittal addressed the gathering where the audience had an opportunity
to watch the video show “Life at Shree Ram Institute of Technical Education
” – depicting working of college.
It was a treat for the eyes of the parents present at the show who witnessed live cultural performances of their ward performing on the stage one after another which was an amalgam of India’s rich culture.
The show started with the prayer by the staff members of college with candles in their hands, after the prayer the students started show with popular song  “Namoh Namoh” where beautiful girls and boys attired in traditional costumes captivated the audience with their graceful and poise
dance moves.
‘Salsa’ – couple dance. ‘Kala Jadu’ students in their dance performance showed how beautiful moments can be enjoyed by everyone in any situation. The catchy number ‘Jodha Akbar’ a performance showing mughal virasat ki jhalak was also performed.
“Hip-Hop” a form of western street dance being imitated by every body now-a-days was a favorite of all and the rip-roaring performance had the hall rocking throughout. “Walha-Walha” a quwalli by girls and boys appreciated by the audience and tribute to Michael Jackson was staged in so realistic manner which was followed by “Arabian-A Belly Dance”.
Other dance performances were the Rajasthani folk and remix of dance number captivated the audience with their electrifying performances. “Ma Tujhe Salaam” A patriotic tribute to Mother India was presented beautifully by budding artists on roller skates.
Popular tunes of Pop star Shakira. ‘Vande Matram’ truly depicted the love and devotion for the country that students expressed deeply with their bodies painted tri-colour and holding national flags of India.
The complete cord of the show was the ‘Bhangra’ that indeed took the audience to the interiors of Punjab village with Giddha and Bhangra Dhol beats that made the audience tap their feet to the Punjabi tunes.
The show ended with grand finale where the chief guest, guests, president and Vice President, Principal, Staff and Students together merged their dance movements with one another holding national flag and candles in their hands.
Mr  Deepinder Singh Hooda said, “It was indeed a unique cultural show watching Shree Ram Institute of Technical Education students performing meticulously one after another.” He highly appreciated the hard work, dedication and perfection seen during the programme under the direction of Co-coordinator Raman deep Sharma and choreographers Gaurav Sharma and Rahul Sharma."
