Haryana State Council for Science and Technology (HSCST) has
announced the winners of State Science Essay Writing Competition for the
year 2011-12 held recently at Panchkula.
While
stating this here today, a spokesman of HSCST said that Mr Traun Kumar
Dhamija, B. Pharmacy IIIrd Year student of Jan Nayak Ch. Devi Lal
Vidyapeeth (JCDM) College of Pharmacy, Sirsa bagged first prize of Rs
9,000, Ms Garima Jain, B.Tech, IInd Semester student of Technological
Institute of Textile and Sciences (T.I.T and S), Bhiwani and Ms Pratibha
Sangwan, B.Sc. IIIrd student of Janta Vidya Mandir Ganpat Rai
Rasiwasia (J.V.M.G.R.R) College, Charkhi Dadri, Bhiwani got second and
third prize of Rs 7,000 and Rs 5,000 respectively.
He
said that Ms Yashpreet Kaur, B.Sc., IIIrd (Medical) Government National
College, Sirsa, Ms Priya Rana, B.tech IInd Semester, T.I.T and S,
Bhiwani, Ms Shilvee, B.Sc. (Non Medical) Ist Year of Seth Navrang Rai
Lohia Jairam Girls College (S.N.R.L.J), Lohar Majra, Kurukshetra, Nisha
Khatri Rani, B.Sc.IIIrd year of Vaish Arya Kanya
Mahavidyalaya,Bhadurgarh (Jhajjar), Mr Sunil Aggrawal, B.Sc IIIrd of
J.V.M.G.R.R College, Charkhi Dadri, Bhiwani, Ms Jyotsna Pathak, B.Sc.
IIIrd (Non Medical). of Aggrawal College, Ballabhgarh (Faridabad), Mr
Sumit Bansal, B.Sc IIIrd (Computer Science) of Aggrawal College,
Ballabhgarh (Faridabad), Mr Nishant Bamba, B.Sc. IIIrd (Non Medical) of
Mata Raj Kaur Institute of Engineering and Technology, Saharanwas
(District Rewari), Ms Divya Gupta, B.Sc. IIIrd (Non Medical) of
Government College, Naraingarh (Ambala) and Ms Sonam Singh, B.Sc. IIIrd
(Computer Science) of Saraswati Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Palwal, had been
selected for the consolation prizes of Rs 3,000 each.
