Haryana onlt state to procure 14 crops on MSP

 Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, while inaugurating the capacity expansion project of the Panipat cooperative Sugarmill at Dahar village on the Rohtak-Panipat highway today, said that gone are the days of Congress when their Prime Minister used to send Rs.1, while beneficiaries used to get only 15 paise.  

        "In our regime, every possible effort would be made to ensure that every single penny reaches the beneficiaries," said Sh. Manohar Lal.

After the inauguration, the Chief Minister also announced a  development bonanza of Rs.1768 crore for Panipat. 

        "On the land where the Panipat sugar mill was built, now an HSVP sector would be developed in an area of about 35 acres," announced Sh. Manohar Lal.

        While addressing the gathering at the inauguration ceremony, Sh. Manohar Lal said that as today Haryana's biggest sugar mill has been made functional farmers will not have to transport sugarcane to neighbouring states. 

        The Chief Minister also handed over the yellow ration cards, pension cards and official papers to the beneficiaries who got loans under Antyodaya Parivar Utthan Mela during the programme.

        Ensuring the well being of each farmer is the utmost priority of the State Government. Haryana is the only state to procure 14 crops on MSP,  State is paying the highest procurement rate of sugarcane in the country,  said the Chief Minister.

        The Chief Minister further said that in a bid to save every single drop of water, an appeal has been made to the farmers to give up paddy and shift to crop diversification. Besides this, he also urged the farmers to set up STP plants for ensuring the reuse of the treated water.

        The Chief Minister shared that today  Amrit Sarovar Mission has also been launched across Haryana to rejuvenate and clean around 1600 ponds by the end of this year. 

        The Chief Minister further said that the State Government has set a target of constructing medical colleges and 200-bed hospitals in every district.

Highlighting the fact that Haryana has become a sports hub, the Chief Minister said that the players have brought laurels to Olympics and Paralympic Games. Neeraj Chopra, belonging to the State has made Haryana proud after he won the Olympic gold, said Sh. Manohar Lal. 

A stadium at a cost of Rs.10 crore would be built in Neeraj Chopra's village, announced Sh. Manohar Lal.

"We are organizing Khelo India from June 4. Haryana is also giving the highest prize money to its players in the entire country," said Sh. Manohar Lal.

The Chief Minister said that reaching out to those at the bottom of the pyramid is the utmost priority of the State Government and for this, an ambitious scheme named Parivar Pehchan Patra has been implemented. 

The Chief Minister also announced an amount of Rs. 800 crore would be spent under the Ranney well scheme in Panipat to provide adequate water. 

He also announced that the Veteran hospital in Dahar, the BDO office in Matlauda, an ultra-modern fire station and  5 Primary Health Centres would be upgraded. 

The Chief Minister also announced the construction of 5 roads in Panipat. He also announced to approve  Rs. 25.50 crore for executing 17 development works in Panipat city. 

The Chief Minister further announced the construction of a canal bridge in Ramnagar and a 17 deep tubewell pipeline for water drainage of rural 'Basti' in Panipat.  Apart from this, Rs 106 crore has been approved for 63 roads of Panipat Rural and Israna, he announced. 

The Chief Minister also announced to upgrade  43 government schools in the Panipat district.

The Chief Minister also announced the construction of a flyover at Assandh, a road and one ROB in Panipat city. The Chief Minister announced that three schools in the Panipat district will be upgraded. 

The Chief Minister announced that a three-bay bus stand would be built at Matlauda. Besides this, an amount of Rs. 182 crore has also been approved for Municipal Corporation and Rs.12 crore for Samalkha,
