Institute of Hotel Management Catering and Nutrition, Panipat has invited applications by July 12, 2010 for admission to three diploma courses.
While stating this here today, a spokesman of the Haryana Tourism said that applications had been invited for Diploma in Bakery and Confectionery, Diploma in Food and Beverages Service and Diploma in Food Production. The duration of all these diploma courses would be one year with six months of industrial training. The minimum qualification required were 10 plus two with English as compulsory subject. The number of seats available in the courses was 20 each in Diploma in Bakery and Confectionery and Diploma in Food Production and 50 in Diploma in Food and Beverages Service.
He said that the candidates with maximum age of 22 years as on June 1, 2010 could apply for the diploma. The age limit was relaxable by three years for the candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes families. Counseling for the selection of all eligible candidates would be conducted on July 19, 2010, he added.
