HAU trekkers return from Mount Jagatsukh

CHANDIGARH, SEPT 13
A contingent of 23 mountaineers of CCS Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar returned after successful high altitude trekking to Mount. Jagatsukh (5303m) in Kullu valley of Himachal Pradesh.
          On arrival at the campus yesterday, the Vice-Chancellor, Dr. K.S. Khokhar and Director, Students' Welfare, Dr. Ram Kumar Yadav greeted the contingent and congratulated them for this success.
          Dr. Mukesh Saini, President, CCSHAU  mountaineering Club who led the team said that during 10-day expedition, the group which included Arun Janu, Manoj, Neha Mittal, Pradeep, Manish, Praveen, Ashutosh, Vikram, Kirtipal, Yashdev, Swati, Jyoti, Narender, Ashok, Hiralal, Shashikant, Vipesh, Prabhat, Navish, Manoj, Gurmesh, Padam and Anil also trekked to Chandartal lake (4480m) near Mount. Deo Tibba (6001m). The trekkers also performed adventurous activities like river crossing and monkey crawling, he said.
