PINJORE (HARYANA), JAN 26
Joyous children bubbling with a patriotic fervor celebrated the 63rd Republic Day with vivacity. The function commenced with the flag hoisting by Brigadier V.K. Sharma VSM, who also presided over the function. In a special Republic Day assembly the children then presented facts, thoughts and highlighted the importance of this day in the history of the Nation and significance of its celebration every year. They brought home the fact that we, as the citizens of a sovereign, Socialist Republic, must know our rights and should do our duties with utmost sincerity and dedication.
While the country awarded the children for their bravery in Delhi and other parts of the country, we in the school decorated those who have been meritorious in academics in the session 2010-11.  One hundred and forty one students were given away the scholar badges while 17 gold medals along with the school color to the out standing performers were awarded in the prize distribution function.
The programme was also studded with presentation of melodious patriotic songs by the young enthusiastic children.
Bg. V.K Sharma lauded the efforts of the students and congratulated them for their accomplishments. He said, “It’s just the beginning. Make ‘Winning a habit’ and you’ll never have to look back in life”. Giving the three success mantras to the students, he said that love, action and hope take a person a long way in life. Therefore one must always remember and act according to these.
Principal  Samson Masih also wished everyone a happy Republic Day urging the students to be conscientious, dedicated and sincere in whatever they do. Be secular and broadminded in your outlook. Moreover to be a good human being is most important in life, he said. The country, the society and others must come before ‘Me and My’ he added.
Vote of thanks was proposed by Dr. Kiran Prabhakar
