Haryana Police to recruit 1000 computer operators

Haryana Police has invited applications from eligible candidates for filling up of 1000 temporary posts of male Constables (Computer Operator).
          While stating this here today, a spokesman of the Police Department said that out of these vacancies, 450 posts were of General Category, 180 for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SCs), 140 for Backward Class (BC)-A, 80 for BC-B, 80 for Ex-Servicemen General Category, 20 each for Ex-Servicemen SCs and BC-A and 30 for BC-B category.
          He said that benefit of reservation would be given only to those SC and BC candidates who are residents of Haryana State. Other relaxations would be given as per rules or instructions as applicable. The minimum required educational qualification was 10 plus two pass from Board of School Education, Haryana or any other Board recognized by it for all categories. In addition, every applicant should have the certificate of having done State Eligibility Test in Computer Appreciation and Applications held by HARTRON.
          He said that age for general category candidates should be between 18 and 25 years as on March 1, 2012. Upper age limit was relaxable upto five years for SC and BC candidates. Ex-servicemen candidates must have been discharged or retired after March 1, 2008.
          The spokesman said that applications could be submitted at the respective District Police Office on or before February 28, 2012. Every application should be accompanied with original treasury challan or Indian Postal order for payment of Rs.10 for General Category candidates. However, there would be no application fee for candidates belonging to SC and BC categories.
