10 % reservation of industrial plots for NRIs in Haryana

CHANDIGARH, JAN 9
Haryana Chief Minister Mr Manohar Lal today said that the State Government has provided 10 per cent reservation in industrial plots to the Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) and this could further be increased  if they asked for the same.
        The Chief Minister who was interacting with the media persons after going around the Haryana Pavilion at the Exhibition Hall at Gandhinagar in Gujarat during the Pravasi Bhartiya Diwas (PBD) today said that now favourable conditions have  emerged in the State for the NRIs after the formation of BJP Government in the State.
        He said that the NRIs has shown  keen interest in making  investment in the State as  there are ample  opportunities in the areas of education, tourism, auto-mobiles, infrastructure etc.   He said the State Government is committed to provide favourable conditions to the NRIs so as to facilitate them.
In reply to another question, he said that now the days have changed with the formation of BJP Government in the State and people have already developed a lot of faith in the policies and programme of the present State Government.
When asked to comment whether the State Government has formed Special Investigation Team (SIT) to investigate the Vadra-DLF land deals, he said  that data was being collected in all cases of irregularities and action would be taken as per the law.
Those present on this occasion included MLA Gharaunda Mr Harwinder Kalyan, OSD (media) to Chief Minister Mr Raj Kumar Bhardawaj, Principal Secretary, Industry Mr Devender Singh, Resident Commissioner, Haryana Bhawan, New Delhi Mr Anand Mohan Sharan, Director General Information, Public Relations and Cultural Affairs Department Mr Abhilaksh Likhi, Managing Director, Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructural Development Corporation (HSIIDC) Mr Vineet Garg and other senior officers.
