Haryana Govt to provide big relief to entrepreneurs

CHANDIGARH, SEPT 27
The Haryana Government is going to provide big relief to entrepreneurs of the State, as announced earlier in the Enterprise Promotion Policy-2015. As per this move, the validity period of clearances being given by State Pollution Control Board to entrepreneurs for setting up industries has been more than doubled.
While giving this information, Industries and Commerce Minister, Capt. Abhimanyu, said that the State Government has taken this decision to provide relief to entrepreneurs. The aim of government is to promote ‘Ease of Doing Business’. With this decision, the entrepreneurs would not have to visit State Pollution Control Board at short intervals.
He said that the Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal had recently launched the Enterprise Promotion Policy-2015. The aim of policy is to promote growth of industries in the state, generate employment for youth and attract foreign investment. In its policy, the Government has made efforts to provide more facilities to entrepreneurs.
Capt. Abhimanyu added that entrepreneurs of the State have to take clearance from the State Pollution Control Board for setting up industries. So far, the industries falling in the red category get clearance of two years, whereas those in the orange category get clearance for three years. The State Government has decided to increase the duration of both categories. He said that the government was going to increase the clearance period of industries falling in red category from two years to five years and that of orange category from three years to 10 years.
The Technical Advisory Committee of Haryana State Pollution Control Board had given approval for this and this draft would now be presented in the meeting of the Haryana State Pollution Control Board to be held on September 29, and after that it would be implemented. In compliance with the directions of the Chief Minister, the Government was not only working on the policy of providing maximum facilities to entrepreneurs, but had also adopted zero tolerance policy towards corruption. With the increase in clearance period of industries, check would be imposed on corruption in this sector. Earlier, the Government had provided big relief to industrial units using boilers by allowing self certification. This decision benefitted about 2,000 industrial units which were using boilers. Besides, the Government also made C-Form available online for the convenience of the businessmen.
The Minister said that Government was working in the State with the principle of ‘Ease of Doing Business’, under which more facilities were being provided to entrepreneurs and businessmen so that they may not face any difficulty.
