ESI to expend its services to all districts of Haryana

CHANDIGARH, JUNE 15
In a major initiative, the ESI (Employee’s State Insurance) Health Care, Haryana has decided to expand its services in all the districts and small towns of the State. For this, applications have been invited from Insurance Medical Practitioners (IMPs) for 75 newly identified locations.
          While giving this information here today, a spokesman of ESI Health Care, Haryana said that ESI Health Care  is providing comprehensive health care through a network of dispensaries and hospitals to its insured  persons and their families in majority of districts of the State.
          He said that ESI Health Care Haryana is in the process of associating private clinic or nursing home as Insurance Medical Practitioners (IMPs) to provide Primary Health Care services including basic investigations under ESI scheme in the areas where there is no ESI Dispensary or Hospital.  He said that applications have been invited for 75 newly identified locations in the districts of Ambala, Bhiwani, Charkhi Dadri, Fatehabad, Gurugram, Hisar, Jhajjar, Jind, Kaithal, Karnal, Kurukshetra, Mahendergarh, Nuh, Palwal, Panchkula, Panipat, Rewari, Rohtak, Sirsa, Sonipat and Yamunanagar. Each IMP would be paid Rs 500 per IP per annum as a package remuneration, he added.  
          While referring to the eligibility conditions, he said that minimum qualification of IMP is MBBS with valid registration in Haryana and the total number of working hours is seven hours per day. He said that application form, list of identified locations and other details could be downloaded from website www.hryesi.gov.in. Application complete in all respects must reach in the office of Directorate, ESI Health Care, Haryana, SCO 803, NAC Manimajra,  Chandigarh  on or before June 30, 2017 upto 5 pm. The envelop should be with a superscription “For empanelment of Medical Practitioner”. In case last date happens to be gazetted holiday then next working day would be considered. Any application received after the cut off date and time would not be considered under any circumstances, he added.
