Decision on screening of film ‘Padmavati’

CHANDIGRH, NOV 22
Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal today said that any decision on permitting screening of film ‘Padmavati’ in the State will be taken only after the decision of the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).
         The Chief Minister, who was replying to the questions of media persons in a press conference here today, made it clear that nobody would be allowed to hurt sentiments of people belonging to a particular community. 
       When his attention was drawn towards the remarks made by Mr Surajpal Singh Ammu, Chief Media Coordinator of the BJP in the state on the movie ‘Padmavati’, the Chief Minister said that these are the personal views of Mr Ammu and the State Government has nothing to do with it. The Party has also issued a show cause notice to Mr Ammu. He said that he has learnt that a complaint has also been filed against Mr Ammu and the law would take its own course. 
MAMTA APPOINTED SPOKESPERSON: Mamta Singh, IGP, Crime against Women has been appointed Spokesperson for Haryana Police, in addition to her own duties. She will brief the media on all important issues. 
          An order to this effect has been issued by the Office of Director General of Police, Haryana, Panchkula, today. 
INTERVIEW SCHEDULE: Haryana Public Service Commission will conduct  interview for the posts of Assistant Professor (College Cadre) of Economics, Public Administration, English and Home Science in Higher Education Department from November 27, 2017 to December 1, 2017 in Commission’s office, Bays No. 1-10, Block-B, Sector-4, Panchkula.
          While giving this information today, an official spokesman said that the schedule for interview had been uploaded on Commission’s website http://hpsc.gov.in. Interview letters were being sent separately to the eligible candidates.
