Haryana Urban Local Bodies Department has issued notification for the delimitation of wards of Municipal Corporation, Karnal.
While giving this information here today, a spokesman of the Department said that areas in Ward No.1 are Villages Baldi, Jhanjari, Kailash, Uchani, Mangalpur and colonies of Basant Vihar, Indira Vikas Colony, Sector-28, 28A,29, Lodhi Colony, Oasis Resort, Baljeet Enclave, Alpha City and NBAGR. Similarly, Ward No.2 includes R.K.Puram, Ashoka Nursery, Palam Colony, Krishna Colony, Baghpati, Arya Puram,LIC Colony, Shakti Puram, Power House Colony, Sector-32, Beeru Colony, Tikra Colony, Ror Colony and village Budha Khera and Preetam Nagar.
He said that Ward No. 3 included SP Colony, DC Colony, Rajiv Puram, Village Phoosgarh, Vikas Nagar, Nirmal Vihar Colony, Narinder Colony and Bank Colony. Similarly, Ward No. 4 included Uttam Nagar, Durga Colony, Canal Area, Karan Vihar, Prithvi Vihar, Sugar Mill, MC Colony, MITC Colony, Saraswati Vihar, Krishna Colony and Bhatta Colony. Ward No. 5 included JBB Apartments, Palm Residency, Sector-4 Housing Board, Vikas Colony, Ashok Vihar, Rampura Katabag, Gopi Wali Gamari, Gopi Colony, Ansal Town, Ansal API, Sector-35 A and Sector-35.
He said that Ward No.6 included areas Truck Union, Village Kambopura, DAV Police Public School, Sirsi Village, Ambedkar Colony, Daha-Jagir village, Madanpur, Sector-3, Vegetable and Grain Market Sector-3, HSIIDC, Ramdev Colony, Mangal Colony, Part-II, Chand Sarai, Deha Basti and Khera Colony, whereas Ward No. 7 included Ashok Nagar, Balmiki Basti, DC Colony, New Rajinder Nagar, Kalandri Gate Outer, Sector-14 part-1 and Part-2, Buta Singh Colony, Moti Nagar, Pritam Nagar, Sector-16 and Meera Ghati. Ward No.8 included Sector-5 part-1 and 2, Chamba Colony, Sector-6 Housing Board, Sector-6 and Sector -14 part-1 and areas included in Ward No. 9 are Sector-7, 8 and 9, ITI Colony and BSNL Colony and Ward No.10 included New Housing Board, Sector-13 extension, Sector-13 and Old Housing Board.
He said that areas included in Ward No. 11 are IARI, Balmiki Basti, Dayanand Colony, LIC Quarter, ICAR, DWR, Model Town, Saini Colony, NDRI, New Wazir Chand Colony, Sector-31, Nayapuri, FCI Godown, Sector-12 part1 and Part-2, KCMC Campus and CSSRI, whereas Ward No. 12 included Diwan Colony, Char Chaman, Jarnally Colony, Old Sabzi Mandi, Dayal Singh Colony, Adarsh Nagar, Randhir Colony, Old Tehsil, Rambagh, Purshotam Graden, Avtar Colony, Ashoka Colony, Duggal Colony, Arjun Nagar, Azad Nagar, Subhash Colony, Indira Colony, Chaudhary Colony, Officers colony, Mahila Asharam, Sant Nagar, Chaman Garden, Chaman Garden Extension and Bank Colony, Ward No 13 included Sadar Bazar, Ibrahim Mandi, Drabi Line, Topkhana, Old Anaj Mandi, Bhim Nagar and Vakhilpura, Ward No.14 included Bhram Nagar, Gopi Wala Bagh, Jankpuri, Jawhar Nagar, Upkar Colony, Ramesh Nagar, Dayalpura Gate, Bhagat Mandi, Ravi Dass Pura, New Ramesh Nagar, Banso Gate and Ward No. 15 included Jundla Gate, Kot Mohalla, Chaura Bazar, Gausi Mohalla, Banso Gate, Holi Mohalla, Kalandri Gate, Arjun Gate, Subash Gate and Jatto Gate.
He said that areas included in Ward No.16 are Bhatt Colony, Gobind Colony, Indira Colony, Bahadur Chand Colony, New Bahadur Chand Colony, Luv-Kush Colony, Balmiki Colony, Dinga Khera, Gita Colony, Shri Ram Colony, Shalimar Colony, Shiva G Colony, Anand Vihar, Rajiv Colony and Kodhi Colony and Ward No. 17 included Hakikat Nagar, Mahavir Colony, Shiv Colony and Shashtri Nagar. Similarly, Ward No. 18 included Prem Nagar, Jyoti Nagar, Yamuna Vihar, District Jail, Balaji Colony, Ekta Colony, Gurunanak Pura, Prem Colony, Mann Colony, Deha Basti and Friends Colony, Ward No.19 included Ram Nagar, Madrasi Colony and New Prem Nagar and Ward No. 20 included CHD City, Dholgarh, Gandhi Nagar, Zarifa Viran, New Nasib Puram, Pal Nagar, Saidpura, Uchana, Vijay Nagar and Shanti Nagar.
