CM condoles DP Sharma's death

Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda has expressed shock and grief over the sad and sudden demise of vetran journalist D.P.Sharma, here today. He was 78.
He is survived by his daughter, Mrs. Vibha Sharma, who is senior correspondent with The Tribune.
Mr.D.P.Sharma served the Press Trust of India for a long time and after retirement he joined Uttam Hindu, a Hindi daily. Nowadays he was serving Divya Himachal, another Hindi Daily and was based at Chandigarh.
In a condolence message issued here today, the Chief Minister described Mr.D.P.Sharma as a seasoned journalist, who would be long remembered for his objective and fair reporting and the qualities of head and heart which he possessed.
The Chief Minister conveyed his heartfelt sympathies to his daughter and prayed that the departed soul might rest in peace.
Chief Parliamentary Secretary Mr.Dharamvir and Media Advisor to Chief Minister, Mr.Sunder Pal, also conveyed their heartfelt condolences.
Commissioner-cum-Director, Public Relations, Haryana, Mr.K.K.Khandelwal and staff of the department also mourned the sad demise of Mr.D.P.Sharma.
