March Past Trophy goes to Sirsa Centre

Sushmita of Gurgaon bagged the first position in one-legged race for under-12 year children in the two-day state level athletic competitions of Deaf and Dumb children organized by Deaf and Dumb Center, Gurgaon. Jyoti of Sonipat and Kavita of
Gurgaon bagged the second and third position respectively in the same
event.
In the March Past, team of Sirsa Centre won the trophy. Children ofdeaf and dumb centres of six districts namely Sirsa, Hisar, Karnal, Sonipat, Gurgaon and Panchkula participated in this event. For under eight year children, 50 meter race and frog race had been organized, for under 12, 100 meter race, one legged race and frog race games, for under 16 children 200 meter, 400 meter, 4x100 meter relay race, hand
ball throw, disc throw and long jump had been organized.
In the 50 meters race of under-8 boys, Rahul of Sonipat, Shakti of Sonipat, Raman of Sirsa came first, second and third respectively.
In the similar event of girls, Rakhi of Sonipat, Vijata of Sonipat and Neelam of Gurgaon secured first, second and third position. In the same age group, in Frog Race, Raman of Sirsa, Ankit of Hisar and Rahul of Sonipat remained first, second and third respectively. Amit of Sonipat, Monu of Gurgaon and Sunil of Hisar came first, second and third in under 12, 100 meter race of boys.
In the same age group, in frog race, Ashok of Hisar, Sunil of Hisar and Lakshya of Raipur Rani secured the first, second and third position respectively. In the
one-legged Race of this same age group, Arshat of Raipur Rani, Ayush of Gurgaon, and Rahul of Gurgaon were first, second and third.
