Aditi of Lions Public School defeated Nancy Bhargava  of Ryan School in the girls Under-12 singles of the Gurgaon Distirct Table Tennis Championship at The Heritage School here today.
Earlier, Deputy Commissioner Rajender Kataria inaugurated championship.  Principal Mahesh Prasad welcomed the guests.
Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner assured full cooperation from the administration for the promotion of the various games. Naresh Sharma, Anil Kumar Parnami, Rajpal Chauhan, Vipul Jain, Prashant Yadav, S.K.Pandey, Priya Mishra, Amit, Kamal Yadav, Laxman Singh, Bijender Singh and Manuj Bhardwaj were among those present on the occasion.
Results: Girls U-12: Aditi (Lions Public School) bt Nancy Bhargava (Ryan School), Ananya Thakur (Heritage) bt. Anjal (LPS). Girls U-14: Shivali, Rachna Sharma and Shweta Kataria of Lions Public School, Kanchan and  Aanchal Malik of Blue Bells Sector-10, Khushboo of DPS Maruti Kunj, Parinita Saini of Amity-43, Varidhi Mathur of DPS-45 won their matches and entered quarter finals.
Girls U-17: Pragati and Shweta Lamba of Blue Bells Sector-4, Ria Bajaj and Ritika of Chiranjiv Bharti Sushant Lok, Nazm Beri of Heritage,  Shweta Kataria and Rachna Sharma of LPS and Saayna entered quarter-finals.
Boys U-12: Samarth & Raghav Gupta of DPS-45, Jayant Bedi, Shreyak, Gaurav Mehta, Mukul Chaudhary, Manav Rana, Shubham Sharma of Chiranjiv Bharti Sushant Lok, Kaizad Kler, Satvik Kalra, Shreyus of Heritage School,  Paras jain, Parth Narula of Blue Bells Sector-4,  Ayush of LPS,  Lakshay Setia of Salwan and Ashwani of Blue Bells Sec-10 moved into pre quarter-finals.
Boys U-14: Waali, Anirudh Goel, Vedang, Paras Jain,Vasudev, Manu Sharma, Tapasya, Mohd. Ibtisam, Vikas, Uditanshu, Lakshay Setia, Vikrant Dhir, Ankit Yadav, Deepansh, Lakshay Vohra and Parth Narula hav won their preliminary matches.
