PANCHKULA, MAY 28
Mother’s
day was celebrated at Shemrock Bliss preparatory school, rathpur Colony
in Pinjore today. To acknowledge a mother’s contribution in shaping up a
child’s personality and future shemrock smiles arranged a fun morning
for the mothers. A host of games and activities were planned for the
mothers like “ Mothers from India” in which the mothers were requested
to come in traditional dresses of any one of the states of India.
“innovative Sandwich Queen” where the mothers had to present a healthy,
wholesome and quick sandwich for their little ones. “Best make up
artist” where the mothers had to get a friend along as model and made to
do their make up in the school.
Apart
from these contests and other fun games like soap game, ant game,
mirror game etc were also organized for the mothers. Mothers Amita,
Kavita, Smriti, Rosy Bhushan, Shivranjini and Saroj were awarded first
& second prize. Director Teenu Jolly gave away the prizes to the
winner mothers.
She thanked all the mothers for participating so
zealously and congratulated them as this would go a long way in
encouraging their children for more active participation as well as
stronger bonding with the school. She also said that in no way should a
mother’s contribution in a child’s life a growth be undermined and the
mothers must also realize their own place value in the society and live
with pride and self esteem. The mothers enjoyed the celebration
thoroughly and were all praise for the well organized fun morning.
