The Annual Vidya Arambh Sanskar was
organised in St. Vivekanand Millennium School, HMT Township, Pinjore. In
ancient age, our Rishis in Gurukuls used to begin imparting education
from the day of Purnima of Shravan month. So, Hawan is performed on
this day to make
the students capable in all respects i.e. spiritually, physically and
mentally.
It was a big day for the school as Swami Anupamanand ji,
Secretary Ramkrishan Mission Ashram, Chandigarh stepped in the school
premises. President SMC, Mr A.R. Sharma
and other members SMC, Mr RN Sharma, Mr. Ravi kant Sharma and Mr. K.M. Pathak
were also present to grace the occassion. Hawan was organised for the students
of Class +1 for their brilliant career and bright future. At the end Swamiji made the students aware
about the importance of Gayatri Mantra and stressed that every student should
recite it everyday, so that their minds can be directed in right direction.
In the second session Swami ji illuminated the students of
Class X and XII with his discourses.
He emphasized on character
building, strong determination and need to strengthen the concentration of mind
which is the key to success. He said, “Mind is the biggest power, make it
your best friend and achieve your goal”.
Not only the students but the staff also had the opportunity to listen
to his golden words. School Principal Mr. Piyush Punj wished that the school students must attain
the strength of mind and desirous wish to achieve their goal.
