Trees, our green friends , How useful and significant they are
!. An ode to their selflessness, Vanmohatsav was celebrated in the Junior Wing
of DAV Senior Public School, Surajpur, Pinjore today. With the sole
aim of spreading this message around and quivering the feelings and sensitivity
of people towards nature, Van Mahautsava was celebrated with full fervor and
enthusiasm in the premises of school, under the noble patronage and guidance of
Principal Mrs. Anuja Sharma.
Students
raising slogans holding placards and taking out rally to save the trees was
a heartening sight. Children also
planted saplings in the surroundings around the icing on the cake was put on by
the staff of the school which had come gracefully dressed up in green, thus
making the whole environment green.
Mr.
Vijay Kumar the Manager of the school was the Guest of honour who felt elated
at the sight of spirit and devotion among the students and the staff, He
motivated them to be their savior and guardians of their environment around.
Principal
Mrs. Anuja Sharma too expressed her ecstacy at the efforts of the students and the staff who had
put their best foot forward in the achieving the noble mission of saving their
environment . She threw light on the importance of green environment on earth
and encouraged them to plant saplings which would further help them living a
fresh and clean life on earth. On the occasion Sr. Co-ordinator Dr. Renu Sood,
Shushma Khosla, Sadan Incharge Anita Trehan along with other staff members were also present .

A green earth is so important, and it's good to read about people who care. There is a website called coralspringsgreenoffers.com that helps you to plant a tree to keep the earth green. I want there and thought it was a good concept for those of us who want to do a little more for the planet.
