Grand
Parents Day was celebrated at Shemrock Smiles Prep. School, MDC,
Panchkula, with great enthusiasm and zeal. The grandparents were
welcomed with tilak and flower petals were showred on them. The teachers
of the school extended warm welcome to them. The programme commenced
with the little children reciting the Gayatri mantra.
Number of games like
folds of love, office champion, paletteable, grand parents ka super star
were organised for the grand parents in which they participated whole
heartedly and enjoyed a lot. Winners were declared for all the games and
prizes were give by the Director Teenu Jolly. She also thanked the
grandparents for their presence at the fuction thus, making it day full
of memorable moments. Grand parents were also served snacks and tea.
Our
seniors have vast experience with lot many year behind them, so the
grand parents shared their ancedotes and experiences during the
fuction and enriched the children and teachers with their pearls of
wisdom.
