CHANDIGARH, OCT 26Haryana Governor Prof. Kaptan Singh Solanki administered oath of office and secrecy to Mr. Manohar Lal Khattar as Chief Minister of Haryana at the swearing-in-ceremony held at Panchkula near here today.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP President Mr. Amit Shah, Union Ministers, Chief Ministers of BJP ruled states; senior leaders Mr L.K Advani and Mr. Murli Manohar Joshi, Incharge of Haryana Affairs Mr. Kailash Vijayvargiya were also present on this occasion.
The Governor, on the recommendation of Chief Minister also administered oath to six cabinet ministers and three Ministers of State.
The six Cabinet Ministers are Mr. Ram Bilas Sharma, Capt. Abimanyu, Mr. Om Parkash Dhankhad, Mr Anil Vij, Rao Narvir Singh and Mrs Kavita Jain. Three Others Mr Vikram Singh Thekedar (Independent Charge), Mr. Krishan Kumar Bedi and Mr Karan Dev Kamboj are Ministers of State.
Among those others who were present on this occasion included Union Home Minister Mr. Rajnath Singh, Union Foreign Minister Mrs Sushma Swaraj, Union Minister for Urban Development Mr. Venkaiah Naidu, Union Minister Mr. Radha Mohan, Union Minister for Chemicals and Fertilizers Mr. Anant Kumar, Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare Dr. Harsh Vardhan, Union Minister for Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution Mr. Rambilas Paswan, Union Minister for Women and Child Development Mrs Maneka Gandhi, Union Minister of Shipping, Road Transport and Highways Mr Krishan Pal Gujjar, Union Minister of State for Defence Rao Inderjit Singh, Union Minister of Development of North Eastern Region General V.K. Singh and Union Minister of State for Agriculture Mr Sanjeev Balyan.
