Haryana records high 76.54% voting

CHANDIGARH, OCT 16
In all, 1,24,12,023 voters cast  their votes  in the Haryana Vidhan Sabha elections yesterday, taking the voting  percentage to a record high of 76.54. These included 67,37,003 male  voters logging percentage of 77.11 and 56,75,020 females with 75.87  percentage.
        The maximum of 89.4 per cent polling has been recorded in the  Ellenabad Assembly constituency in Sirsa district where the maximum  number of polling by male and females has also been recorded. In  Ellenabad, while 89.49 per cent males cast their votes,  88.52 per  cent females exercised their franchise.
        Sirsa district leads the state with 84.66 per cent polling.  The maximum male and female voting percentage has also been recorded  in Sirsa where 83.99 per cent females and 85.25 per cent males cast  their votes.
        Clocking only 59.97 per cent, the Faridabad Assembly  constituency recorded the lowest voting in the state. The lowest  female voting was recorded in Badhkal with 57.81 per cent whereas the
lowest male voting was recorded in Ballabgarh where 61.36 per cent  males cast their votes.
