CHANDIGARH, FEB 9
A 13-member Panchkula badminton team, captained by Akshit Jitender, bagged gold medal in the 55th National Schools Badminton Championship held at Pune from February 1 to 4.
Akshit Jitender Mahajan, student of 12th class of Hansraj Public School got
two medals in All India Major Ranking in the age group of 19 years.
This outstanding achievement had provided Akshit Jitender an opportunity to participate in the International Badminton championship.
Deputy Commissioner and President, District Badminton Association,
Panchkula, Pankaj Yadav honoured the members of the team.
