Governor to honour 26 Haryana Police officers

CHANDIGARH, FEB 2

Haryana Governor, Mr Jagannath Pahadia will honour 26 officers and officials of Haryana Police for their outstanding performance in a State level function to be organized at Haryana Raj Bhawan tomorrow.
A spokesman of the Police Department said that those who would be awarded with Police Medal included five IPS officers, two HPS officers and 19 other police personnel’s.
Those five IPS officers awarded with Police Medal included the then Managing Director, Police Housing Corporation, Mr. CP Bansal, Inspector General, Police Training and Research Institute, Bhondsi, Mr Sheel Madhur, Joint Police Commissioner, Gurgaon, Mr. Alok Mittal, Director, Sports, Mr OP Singh and Deputy Inspector General of State Vigilance Bureau, Mr Ajay Singal.
Among HPS officers, Deputy Superintendent Police, Mr. Rattan Singh and Additional Superintendent Police, Mr Arun Singh would be awarded with Police Medal for rendering their excellent services.
Similarly, Jai Narain, Harpal Singh, Surender Kumar, Jaipal, Mohinder Singh, all Inspectors, Indrawati, Ranbir Singh, Ravinder Singh, Bhim Sain, Lekhraj, Kailash Chander, Rajkumar, Lakhwinder Kumar, Nirmal Singh, all Sub Inspectors and Kulwant Singh, Pramod Chand, Ramkumar, Narender Singh (Posthumous), Vinod Kumar, all Assistant Sub Inspectors would be honoured with Police Medals for rendering their outstanding performance in the police department.
