House allotment committee invites application

The House Allotment Committee, Haryana has invited applications from Haryana Government employees working on regular basis at Chandigarh and Panchkula for the allotment of Type-II Government houses exclusively at Panchkula.
As per a letter issued by the House Allotment Committee, the employees who were drawing basic pay plus grade pay between Rs 12,901 and Rs 17,100 in the new scale as on 1.1.2009 are eligible for the allotment of these houses.
The Haryana Government employees who have already been allotted Government house of appropriate category at Chandigarh by U.T. Administration are not eligible for allotment of the Haryana Government houses at Panchkula. The employees of Boards/Corporations and of other autonomous bodies are also not eligible for allotment of these houses. The Haryana Government employees on deputation with
other Government/Boards/Corporations are not eligible for allotment of these houses.
Most of the houses of Type-II available for allotment are on first and second floor and once allotted house will have to be occupied otherwise the applicant will stand debarred for allotment of this type of house for a period of one year. No change of house from Panchkula to Sector 39-B, Chandigarh and vice-versa shall be allowed. Even the mutual change will not be allowed from Sector 39-B, Chandigarh to
Panchkula being separate criteria. However, change of houses from first/second floor to ground floor or from second floor to first floor will be allowed strictly on seniority basis.
The applicant who have applied earlier for allotment of Type-II Government houses at Panchkula and whose applications are still pending in the office of the Committee should apply afresh.
