Hallmarkites sensitized people to be eco-friendly

PANCHKULA, APRIL 21
Hallmarkites showed their concern and awareness on the 'World Earth Day' through an awareness campaign. Various activities and contests were organized at the Hallmark Public School in Sector 15 here, like kindergarten classes had a green dress code and Green Cocktail Party,  whereas the senior wing made a  'Walk For The Planet 'in the Sec tors 7 and 15, holding the placards with the slogans   like Save Earth, Do not cut trees , Fracking-a social and political hot potato, Bee Death-alarming colony collapse, etc.         Accompanied by their teachers they emphasized the need of being in the proximity of the nature by following a herbal, natural and green diet, and participated in the Smart Art Graphics Contest too, in collaboration with NIIT, raising the question of collapsing of bee colonies etc.  
Hallmarkites put forward an urge to the leaders regarding the laying down of cycle lanes network in Panchkula , which would be beneficial to reduce the air pollution , save fuel, declining the rate of accidents and eventually making the city truly Paris of Haryana. 
Mr Chander Singhal, Director, Rolling Tigers, was also present there to support skating as an another measure to stop pollution and save fuel. Principal Kavita Wadhwa appreciated and applauded for everyone and conveyed that learning about and protecting this biodiversity is what Earth Day is all about. Director Jivtesh Garg  also supported for this environmental event.
