CHANDIGARH, APRIL 14
Keeping in view the huge public demand and  success achieved by  multi-axle 49- seater Volvo buses and 41-seater buses introduced recently by Haryana Roadways, the State  Government has decided to induct  six more new multi-axle buses by the first week of May.
While stating this today, Director General, State Transport, Haryana Mr Arun Kumar, said that the new super luxury bus services launched by inducting nine Multi-axle 49- seater Volvo buses and seven 41-seater buses have achieved hundred per cent occupancy.
He said that these buses have increased the level of comfort for travel to Delhi and Gurgaon. However, although there were no breakdowns, the Haryana Roadways promised to its passengers that in case of a breakdown, it would refund the full fare within 15 days to its passengers travelling in the Volvo Bus. Also, it would ensure that the passengers were taken to their destination by an available Haryana Roadways bus, he added.
