Admission to BAMS, BHMS, BPT in Govt and private unaided institutions

CHANDIGARH, JULY 11
 Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal has approved the draft notification for admission to Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS), Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS), Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) and Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) in Government and private unaided Ayurvedic, Homeopathy and Physiotherapy Institutions in the state for the academic session 2015-16.
             While stating this here today, Health Minister, Mr Anil Vij said that 50 seats in BAMS course are available in Shri Krishna Government Ayurvedic College, Kurukshetra.
             He said that these seats would be filled up by candidates who are residents of Haryana or have cleared their qualifying examination of 10 plus 2 from institutions situated in Haryana or any such instruction issued by the state government from time to time. The admission would be conducted as per the State Reservation Policy, he added. 
            Mr Vij said that the number of seats and distribution would be final as notified by the Pt. Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak at the time of counseling. He said that the admission under all categories would first be made on the basis of relative Haryana State Merit obtained in Common Entrance Test (CET) 2015 conducted by Pt. Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak. He said that the relative merit among such candidates desiring to seek admission would be drawn as per the merit of CET 2015 conducted by the University for all such candidates who have cleared the CET 2015 with or above such distinction as has been declared as minimum eligibility criteria of proficiency for granting admissions. The admissions to BAMS course would be held on the basis of relative merit of qualifying exam that is 10 plus 2 with the same eligibility criteria as that of Common Entrance Test 2015.
             Mr Vij said that in case such Common Entrance Test 2015 qualified candidates are not available in sufficient numbers to meet the requirement, such seats remaining unfilled due to non availability of Common Entrance Test 2015 qualified candidates would be filled up by the available other candidates on the basis of their respective relative merit in the qualifying examination of 10 plus 2 or equivalent. The prospectus and forms for applying under different category would be issued by the Pt. Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak and would be available with the University. He said that the counseling for the candidates under different category of seats would be conducted by Registrar, Pt. Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak and held at the University. The choice of institutions would be exercised by the candidate at the time of counseling. 
            The Health Minister said that the Admission Committee would comprise of Dean, Academic Affairs, Pt. Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak as its Chairman, whereas representative of Registrar, Pt. Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak, Director/Principal of Government Ayurvedic College and representative of the Director General, Medical Education and Research, Haryana not below the rank of Deputy Director would be the members of the Committee. He said that the Director General, Medical Education and Research, Haryana would be final appellate authority in all cases of admission related disputes for all institutions and decision of any dispute made by him or her would be final. 
            He said that for admissions to BAMS and BHMS in Private Ayurvedic and Homeopathy Educational Institutions, 50 per cent of the seats would be of open merit category and remaining 50 per cent would be of management category, as was during  last year. 
            He said that the admission to all categories will first be made on the basis of relative Haryana State Merit obtained in Common Entrance Test 2015 conducted by Pt. Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak. As per the eligibility criteria for Common Entrance Test, the candidates should have passed 10 plus 2 with science or any other equivalent examination recognized by concerned state government and education board provided the candidate passes the examination with 50 per cent aggregate marks in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology. However, in respect of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes or any other categories notified by the government, the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together in qualifying examination be 40 per cent instead of 50 per cent. 
            He said that the relative merit among such candidates as are desiring to seek admission shall be drawn as per the merit of the CET 2015 for all such candidates who have cleared CET 2015 with or above such distinction as has been declared as minimum eligibility criteria of proficiency for granting admissions. He said that in case such Common Entrance Test 2015 qualified candidates are not available in sufficient numbers to meet the requirement for admission to BAMS and BHMS, such seats remaining unfilled due to non availability of Common Entrance Test 2015 qualified candidates would be filled up by the available other candidates on the basis of their respective relative merit in the qualifying examination in total marks obtained in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The prospectus and forms for applying in the general and open category of seats for admission to a private health institution would be issued by the Pt. Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak and would be available with the University.
             He said that the Admission Committee would comprise of Registrar, Pt. Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak as its Chairman, whereas Dean or Controller of Examinations, Pt. Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak or his or her representative, Principal of the concerned Private Ayurveda and Homoeopathy Educational Institutions and Director General, Medical Education and Research, Haryana or his or her representative would be the members of the Committee. He said that the Director General, Medical Education and Research, Haryana would be final appellate authority in all cases of admission related disputes for all institutions and decision of any dispute made by him or her would be final.
             The Health Minister said that the candidates applying for seats in open merit category on the basis of Common Entrance Test 2015 qualification should submit their result of Common Entrance Test 2015. He said that the university would prepare the merit list of the candidates appearing for the counseling on the basis of Common Entrance Test (CET) 2014 result as also based on the relative merit of qualifying examination for such candidates who have not qualified the CET 2015, but are likely to be considered for admission.
             He made it clear that admission would be made in the management category in a fair and transparent manner by the institution by adhering to the directions of Government of India, Central Council of Indian Medicine, Central Council of Homoeopathy or any other regulatory statutory body.
 
            The Health Minister said that admissions to BPT courses in Government Physiotherapy Educational Institutions under all categories would first be made on the basis of the Haryana State Merit obtained in CET 2015 conducted by the Pt. Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak. He said that the relative merit among such candidates as are desiring to seek admission shall be drawn as per the merit of the CET 2015 conducted by the University for all such candidates who have cleared CET 2015 with or above such distinction as has been declared as minimum eligibility criteria of proficiency for granting admissions. The admission to BPT course would be held on the basis of relative merit of qualifying examination of 10 plus 2 with the same eligibility criteria as that of CET 2015.

            The Health Minister said that for admissions to BPT and MPT in Private Physiotherapy Educational Institutions, 50 per cent of the seats would be of open merit category and remaining 50 per cent would be of management category out of which 15 per cent of the total seats would be in the NRI category for Private Unaided Physiotherapy Institutions in the state.
 
            He said that admissions will first be made on the basis of relative Haryana State Merit obtained in Common Entrance Test 2015 conducted by Pt. Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak (except for Master of Physiotherapist). As per the eligibility criteria for Common Entrance Test, the candidates should have passed 10 plus 2 with science or any other equivalent examination recognized by concerned state government and education board provided the candidate passes the examination with 50 per cent aggregate marks in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology.             He said that the prospectus and forms for applying in the general and open category of seats for admission to a private health institution would be issued by the Pt. Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak and would be available with the University. Similarly, the counseling for the candidates of general or open merit category would be conducted by the Pt. Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak and held at the University.
            The Health Minister said that the Admission Committee would comprise of Registrar, Pt. Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences as its Chairman, whereas Dean or Controller of Examinations, Pt. Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak or his or her representative, Principal of the concerned Private Physiotherapy Educational Institution and Director General, Medical Education and Research, Haryana or his or her representative would be its members. 
            He said that the Director General, Medical Education and Research, Haryana would be final appellate authority in all cases of admission related disputes for all institutions and decision of any dispute made by him or her would be final.

WHAT IS THE SCHEDULE OF COUNSELLING FOR CET 2015 FOR B.A.M.S COURSE?

i HAVE NOT GIVEN THE cet 2015, PLS GET SOME DETAILS ABOUT THE ADMISSION IN bhms IN HARYANA.PLS HELP!!!!!
