CM announces expansion of metro service in Faridabad

CHANDIGARH, FEB 6
Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal today announced expansion of metro service in Faridabad and  also said that development works amounting to Rs 133 crore would be undertaken in Ballabgarh Assembly Constituency. He said that after expansion from YMCA Chowk to Ballabgarh, the metro service  would now be extended up to Greater Faridabad.
        The Chief Minister was addressing a Vikas Rally organised in Faridabad today. Earlier, he laid foundation stones of four new development projects and dedicated one project to the people in sector 15-A.
        He said that one-and-a-half year ago, people had given mandate to BJP at the Centre and after five months, brought the similar change in Haryana. He said that everyone was aware of the system that used to be in the state and the country. Corruption was at peak, but BJP soon controlled it after coming to power. So far in its tenure, no one has leveled any allegation of corruption against any leader of BJP. He said that BJP had put a check on corruption with the help of information technology. Today, there are more than 50 services which are accessible online and people can avail their benefit anytime. He said that corruption in tehsils has been eliminated by introducing e-registration.
        Talking about bringing reforms in police administration, the Chief Minister said that the state government has introduced such a system that FIR could be registered in any police station irrespective of the place of crime.
        Referring to the allegations of previous government, the Chief Minister said, “we know how to run governance and we also know how to carry out development works.”
        Giving approval to demands put forth by Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment, Mr Krishan Pal Gurjar and MLA Mr Mool Chand Sharma, the Chief Minister said that all demands would be fulfilled on the basis of feasibility. Also, he said that people who have constructed houses on government land would not be made homeless rather they would be given ownership rights after charging them the current market rate of land. Regarding the unauthorized colonies, he said that these would be regularized after charging development fee.
        Mr Gurjar and Mr Sharma also spoke on this occasion.
