Web-based online ticket booking in Haryana

CHANDIGARH, FEB 11
Haryana Transport Department will begin web-based online ticket booking for 450 ordinary buses from next month. This facility will be available at department’s website www.hartrans.gov.in.
While giving this information here today, the Transport Minister, Mr Krishan Lal Panwar said that so far this facility was available only for Volvo buses.
He said that the passengers can book their tickets ten days in advance for buses plying on different routes. He said that after detailed study of various routes, the Department has chosen 450 routes for this facility in the first phase of this initiative. As a result of this online ticket booking facility, the passengers would neither have to reach bus stand early nor they would have to stand in long queues at ticket counters.
Mr Panwar said that now information about routes and timetable of buses of buses would also be available online. He said that after the formation of present government, many steps have been taken to improve the transport system to facilitate the general public.
JUDICIAL COURT COMPLEX: Chandigarh, February 11 – Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal has approved the proposal to release more than Rs 10.28 crore for construction of Judicial Court Complex at Samalkha in district Panipat.
ELECTED REPRESENTATIVES: Haryana State Election Commission has published names of all the elected representatives of Panchayati Raj Institutions, that is, Panches, Sarpanches, Member Panchayat Samitis and Zila Parishads in the official Gazette of Haryana Government on February, 10, 2016.
While stating this here today, Haryana State Election Commissioner, Mr. Rajeev Sharma said that the copies of these notifications are also available on the official website of the Commission www.secharyana.gov.in.
OATH TAKING: Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal will administer oath of affirmation to the newly elected members of Zila Parishads and Block Samitis in Karnal on February 12, 2016.
While stating this here today, an official spokesman said that Haryana Development and Panchayats Minister, Mr Om Prakash Dhankar would preside over the function. Members of Parliament, Ministers and MLAs would also be present at the oath taking ceremony.
ADDITIONAL CHARGE: Haryana Government has given additional charge of Secretary, Haryana Board of School Education, Bhiwani, to Pankaj, Deputy Commissioner, Bhiwani relieving Dhirendra Khadgata of the said additional charge. These orders have been issued with immediate effect.
